All the flour at Cann Mills is stoneground on traditional horizontal mill stones. We believe this time honoured and simple method of milling ensures that the character of the grain is preserved and the flavour of the finished product maximised.


We obtain most of our organic grain from local farms, who like ourselves are certified by The Soil Association. This ensures that the authenticity of the product is maintained from the seed being planted on the farm through to the flour leaving the mill. The crops receive no artificial fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides or pesticides and the grain is cleaned and stored under The Soil Association standards.
