Mill Open Day 2022

The Mill Open Day May 8th

It's been a long and difficult last couple of years with the 2020 lockdowns and the ever changing government guidelines.

We were unable to open our doors due to the guidelines in place over the past 2 years for our annual open days so we are really happy to announce that we will be re opening this year May 8th and doors will be open between 10am-5pm. It will be free for you to come along and have a look around the mill while in full operation to get an idea of how your local flour is being produced. The panary will also be open which Paul Merry runs here on site so you should find some nice smells and delicious breads.

Hopefully we will see a lot of you there. We will be selling our flour in 1.5kg, 8kg and 25kgs on the day and we will have a card machine so no need to pay via the website on this occasion.

Parking will be signposted as you come in and there is no need to book ahead of time. The Shaftesbury food festival is also on the 8th of May so a great way to tie the two in and make a good day out!

You will have a chance to walk all the way around the mill, see it running and the different types of machinery that we run on a daily basis to bring a high quality flour to the local market.

We will have Tea/Coffee and cake available for purchase with all profits being donated to "Cure Parkinson's". In living memory of Norman Stoate, the founder of the present Mill that died of parkinsons in 2006.

We are Proud to say at the end of day we managed to raise £460 for Cure Parkinson's!
